Accountability and sound financial management are central to the mission of the Beaufort County Economic Development Corporation.

The organization is committed to managing public funds with care, transparency, and integrity. Its finances are reviewed through an independent, third-party audit to ensure compliance and accuracy. Fieldwork for the most recent audit was completed in October 2025, and the final audit report was received in January 2026.
